The HardBlock HBE121 front locker has been one of the best additions I’ve made to my GX470.
The installation was surprisingly simple compared with other front lockers I’ve worked on.
On the trail, the difference is noticeable. It’s especially helpful on steep, climbs and uneven sections where one of the front tires starts to unload.
I’ve also noticed a big difference in loose and muddy terrain where traction can disappear pretty quickly.
Overall, I’m really happy with the locker. It has made my GX noticeably more capable offroad and has given me a lot more confidence when I’m working through tougher sections.
Definitely one of my favorite upgrades to the GX so far.
