⚠️Important Fitment Before purchasing, you must confirm your vehicle’s factory gear ratio. The easiest way is to contact a Toyota or Lexus dealer, provide your VIN number, and ask them to confirm the front differential gear ratio. Depending on the installed gear ratio, your vehicle may require either an HBE111(3.91&Up) locker or an HBE121(3.73&Down) locker.
This model is specifically designed for Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner and FJ Cruiser — and may also fit other vehicles (see compatibility).

Locker engagement at any speed is only possible when the front axle is already engaged — meaning 4WD is activated and the transfer case is sending power to both axles. If the front axle is not engaged, activating the locker at high speed may cause damage to drivetrain components, including the front differential, front axle, and related parts.
